I am completely and totally PISED...yes PISED...long I, not short I...one of my favorite one liners from "The Sweetest Thing"...
We had a little mishap today and when I tried to correct that mishap another mishap happened...try saying that three times real fast...
I'm hoping my problem can be fixed by someone that can really SEW...I'm not telling you what happened because I'm hoping that its not noticeable unless you know something is wrong...
Anyways, I released that BEAST...now on to a more stressful subject...
I decided to add up all my acquired debt today...well, it totals a whopping 4 DIGIT NUMBER AND SOME CHANGE to boot...
that's not including my car...
I ask myself HOW???
I started out with a Capitol One card to build my credit...when I was like 19...I had a $300 limit...and my Daddy would pay it off for me every March...
Well, after I graduated from college he quit that and did I mention my credit limit increased...Well, that limit is up to 6,500...
I found a super d duper cute bathing suit at Macy's oneday so guess what I opened a credit card so I could get a GREAT deal on it...but with that deal came a lot more debt...Guess what...that Macy's card is not only a Macy's card it's also an American Express card that you can use ANYWHERE...
I rolled that Capitol One card over to a Bank of America card because the APR was lower...well I charged it on up...
recently I opened a New York and Company Card...but I can gladly say that it is almost paid off...whooohooo!!!
Let me just tell you...credit cards are related to the devil...they have their perks if they are used for reward points or strictly for emergencies...or if you can pay it off each month...my philosophy is...if you can pay it off each month then why don't you just pay for what you bought right away...
I'm getting ready to cut them ALL up and start digging myself out of debt...the debt I acquired before I got married!!!
I have to say one of the things that added to that debt was the plane tickets I bought coming to visit Kyle!!! We always said we needed to join the sky rewards thing...but never did!!! People if you fly a lot like we use to you should definitely do it...we took turns for two years flying either to St. Louis or to Atlanta each month to see one another...we could have had several free flights...LIVE AND LEARN...
if you're young and haven't gotten any credit cards yet...word of advice DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU :)
coupons will be an essential part of this dig...every penny saved will be more money to pay off the debt!
