This and That

I've been finding myself blogging in my head...I have tons of thoughts and when I finally sit down to write it down...I forget...

I started reading "Love the One You're With" by Emily Giffen

It's pretty good so far...

I've had this terrible toothache all day...I think part of my filling came out the other day...I have an appointment first thing Monday morning...what a way to start the week...

Have y'all been watching The Voice??? I love love love it!!!

Have you ever Skyped??? Me and Mom have talked about it and talked about it and this week we finally did it!!! She didn't have a camera on her computer so she upgraded (which was long over due) and got one that does!!! It's so much fun...and it really makes my heart smile to see my Momma, Daddy, and Bogie :)

I used COUPONS today at Walgreen's!!! The monthly coupon book has Almay and Neutrogena coupons...I got $2 off of my Neutrogena mascara (I've never used this brand...) and I got $4.00 off my Almay eye makeup remover and eyeliner!!! The final cost was like $14 and some change :) Not to shabby!!!

it's interesting to say the least...I keep saying, "It's kinda like camping!"...I went to the grocery store Tuesday and bought microwaveable meals...you know Lean Cuisines and Smart Ones...I also bought sandwich meat and my fav, CEREAL!!! I think I could live off of CEREAL :) I put a roast in the crockpot...which we put on the card table in the livingroom....haha...we've been washing dishes in the bathroom sink...Kyle went to the grocery store Thursday and bought stuff and made 2 casseroles next door at his Mom and Dads that we can just warm up for the next couple of days...fun fun fun...

Last Saturday we went to Direct Buy and their Graphic Designer started doing a computer generated kitchen layout...what he did so far looks fabulous...I can't wait until he finishes the WHOLE thing!!! I'm stressing over what color to paint the kitchen...I mean afterall it's the HEART OF THE HOME!!! We have A LOT of blue...the downstairs bathroom, the master bedroom, the upstairs extra bathroom, and the attic is in the blue family..I painted the laundry room and one of the extra bedrooms yellow and the other bedroom chocolate brown so now I need something to go with those colors...I was thinking something green but my plates are BLUE AND YELLOW and I plan to decorate with them...I also thought of just doing a neutral and painting an accent wall...decisions decisions...

We have been looking for plane tickets to go to Tallahassee in July for my family reunion (Mom's side)...I wish there was a direct flight but noooooooo of course there isn't...So, we have several options but they all involve us driving extra hours to our final destination...UGH...I like to travel...but I like to just get there...ya know?

Tomorrow I need to clean a little, wash clothes (I have a MOUNTAIN), and run some errands...

I want to find fabric and paint for my chifferobe...I'm going to take the mirrors out and put the fabric in and use it as my linen closet...we utilized all the space in our master bathroom and didn't have enough room for a linen closet in the upstairs extra bathroom so I'm going to use this in the hall...I'd like to find some toile fabric...and I'm thinking of painting it robin's egg blue and making it look distressed :)...

I should be cleaning rather than typing...then I wouldn't have to do it tomorrow...IF I ONLY HAD A BRAIN :)

It really bothers me that our carpet guy didn't measure correctly and he had to order more carpet to go on our stairs...it's a tad bit darker than the carpet in our living room because it's a different dye lot...I'm sure you wouldn't have known that had I not just pointed it out...

Well, I am soooooooooooooo sleepy so I'm going to napper's house...
