CHANGES

I must say things are quite different around here...

When I drove up our lane a bit ago I got teary eyed because Sissy wasn't there with Eli to greet me at the car door...

There are so many things I'm going to miss about my dog...I'm so used to having my "leaner dogs" (meaning: this breed of dog leans on you as they stand beside you) making a mommy sandwich out of me...(as I always called it)...It was so cute, they would both lean up against a leg as I was standing in the yard or sometimes they would just walk really close to me...which would almost enable me from walking because they are so big...

I'm also going to miss my sweet Sissy kisses...not to long ago I was sitting on the front steps and Sissy came and covered me in kisses...

I never had dogs growing up...I vaguely remember getting a Dalmation pup but she died of parvo the night we got her...

I also remember Didi...she was a German Shepherd...we had to get rid of her because she used to chase Gunter on his bicycle everyday...

Now my parents have a Bichon Frise'...Bogie...I love him!!! He's a sweet little buddy :)

Kyle talked to the vet last night to let him know that Sissy had passed...he said that he didn't think she would make it but couldn't say that because he didn't know...He said that her kidney's were shot and that he felt like she must have ingested something lethal...

On the up and up I came home tonight to find that Eli had made a "happy bowl"...he hasn't hardly touched his food and this made ME so happy!!!

I brought a piece of Easter ham home for him...HE LOOOOOVED IT!!!...after he ate the ham he finished off Paisley's cat food that was left in the bowl AND her water...she hissed at him with vengeance...LOL!!!

I wish those two could get along but she's an old kitty...and it ain't happenin'!!!

I had a much better day today! ...

I'm wishing I could have been with Mom, Dad, and Steph but I'm with them in spirit!!!
